Project MVP and Brazilian native, Raphael Santos talks about his passion for visualizing project data with Power BI and his two loves; family and football.
Simple, they can expect the best! We are passionate experts who really love what we do. The team here at Sensei is very committed to our customers’ business needs, and are dedicated to fulfilling these needs through our top-notch solutions and services.
What’s your favorite part about the consulting process?
Working with companies from diversified segments, sizes, and cultures opens a vast array of learning opportunities for our team. We have to fully understand their business needs and convert them into viable, world-class solutions. The Sensei team carries this learning forward, applying it to other customers to help them get better results for projects and businesses.
What Sensei feature(s) could you not live without?
I can’t choose just one! My favorites are OneNote, which has tons of useful information, and Power BI dashboards, which brings your business data to life with rich visuals.
How did you land where you are today?
My employer was getting started with Microsoft Project desktop and I was in charge of learning the tool inside out. I enjoyed it so much I became a trainer. In 2011, I was invited to work for a company specializing in implementing Microsoft Project Server. I kept a close eye on the experts, reading blogs and following the most influential companies, including Sensei. One day, while I was reading my LinkedIn timeline, I saw Sensei was hiring…what a great opportunity! Fast-forward 12 months, I am completing my one-year Sensei-versary at the best PPM company in the world!
How do you spend your time off the clock?
Well, as a Brazilian, I love to play and watch football (not American football!). However, now I have a bigger project (and a bigger priority as well), my six-month old son, Arthur.
