Project Managers today are balancing multiple projects, possibly tracking status for each project from different execution tools, while having to keep track of deliverables, risks, decisions, issues, and changes requests, for each project. It’s overwhelming! At Sensei we understand and have recently introduced the My Projects app into Sensei IQ™. This app provides one location for a project manager to track all the elements of the projects they are responsible for in one location, while providing access and update capabilities in one centralized location.
From the My Projects app you see all the projects and all the people assigned to projects in one location. Projects can be managed in Project Online, Project for the web, Planner, Azure DevOps, and Jira. You can filter by project, by person, or a combination of both. Figure 1 shows just the activities assigned to Tina Hamilton and Garth Forth for the Absolute Technology R400 Infrastructure and Electronic Asset Tracking Systems project.

We can filter items; in Figure 2 you see there are 35 Active Issues across the 2 projects. By filtering on the Active Issues, we see there are 4 Active Issues assigned to Tina.

We can look at activities by date: today, tomorrow, this week, next week, into the future, and overdue tasks. As seen in Figure 3, there are 6 Overdue activities across the two projects selected.

The project manager can also edit deliverables, risks, issues, decisions, change requests, and key dates directly from the My Projects app, as seen in Figure 4.

Having all projects accessible in one dashboard like My Projects is invaluable for a project manager. It provides a control panel for a project manager managing multiple projects across different execution tools, providing a single location to keep track of their work, their team’s work, and the overall status of their projects.
